Job Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Neuroscience,
Pathology, or closely related field.
Experience Requirements: 12 months of experience as a Surgical
Neurophysiologist or in job offered
Special skills requirements:
1. Proficient in IOM modalities, including SSEP, MEP,
EMG, EEG, ABR, Motor Mapping, Phase Reversal
2. Proficient with Cadwell equipment to utilize
intraoperative neuromonitoring
3. Successful completion of the American Board of
Registered Electrodiagnistic Technologists’ (ABRET) Certification in Neurophysiologic
Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) examination
4. Candidate has to be proficient in Spinal, Vascular,
ENT, Neuro, and Interventional Radiology surgeries.
5. Knowledge and experience in the following surgical
procedures: Extradural Spinal Cord, Chiari/High Cervical, Anterior and
Posterior Cervical/Thoracic, Anterior/Posterior Thoracic & Thoracolumbar, Deformity
Correction, Neuromodulation, Anterior, Posterior and Lateral Lumbosacral, Intradural Spine, Extramedullary
Cervicothoracic Tumor, Intracranial Cerebrum, Tumor Cerebrum (no mapping), Intracranial
Brainstem, Open Brainstem Tumor, Microvascular Decompression, Peripheral, SI
