The Position
SpecialtyCare continues to expand our footprint and we have a fully-remote opportunity for a Scheduling Representative to join our Neuro Services team! This associate will complete the daily distribution of next day scheduling for IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) services, while maintaining a structured balance of case concurrency and case complexity per Remote Neuromonitoring Physicians (RNP). This is a full-time position with a variable schedule working at 5:30am (Eastern Time) and will require some flexibility based on team needs and includes 1 week of on-call per month.
- Complete case schedules for strategic clients and/or RNPs.
- Coordinate and confirm RNP case assignments by ensuring:
- the client’s needs are met based upon the type of case,
- the payor requirements are met,
- the RNP’s availability, taking case load, vacation, on call, and other time conflicts into consideration and
- Operational efficiency and quality is met.
- Schedule relief cases as needed.
- Communicate confirmed schedules to RNPs, clients, vendors, and management as applicable by completing phone calls and sending e-mails.
- Ensure RNP case assignment information is up to date and available to all team members.
- Document scheduled cases in the Clinical Decision Support (CDS) system regularly.
- Monitor the live case load on Bomgar and help ensure all cases are picked up by a RNP on a timely basis.
- Respond to client questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Research, resolve, and communicate scheduling issues with the appropriate party as needed.
- Collaborate with medical group, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and operations to maximize revenue.
- Assist with case re-assignment during periods of critical care need.
- Complete scheduling for all IONM next day scheduling.
- Review and balance case concurrency and complexity.
- Ensure case counts per doctor, per region are accurate before ending each shift.
- Aid in assignment coverage while team members are out of the office (sick, PTO, increase in case volume resulting in adjusted workflow).
- Aid in process improvement efforts.
- Attend monthly and quarterly team meetings.

Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Associates degree (A.S. or A.A.) preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in a business office function or,
- Experience, education and/or an understanding of IONM is preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare related scheduling/dispatch position, preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $20- $25/ hour (Several factors, such as specific skill set, education level, certifications and years of experience, are considered to determine actual compensation.)
