PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position is responsible for architecting, designing, enhancing and implementing enterprise-level systems that support business operations and strategic initiatives, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead Requirements, Design & Documentation phases

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business goals.

     

    o   Collaborate with the project team members to document business requirements.

     

    o   Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications and system designs.

     

    o   Produce comprehensive documentation of the system design, including architectural diagrams, data models, data flows, user workflows, integration points and technical specifications.

     

    o   Define business, functional, and technical requirements for new, and enhancements to existing, applications, interfaces, reports and dashboards. Collaborate with the IS Systems Analyst team(s) for Testing & Implementation phases

     

    o   Develop test plans that will validate the system design, ensuring the system functions and performs correctly and meets the defined requirements.

     

    o   Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the design, testing, implementation phases of the project.

     

    o   Develop training documentation and assist with training sessions.

     

    o   Ensure implementations are successful with minimal negative impact on users and resolve go-live support issues effectively and efficiently

  • Teamwork & Communication

    • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project team members to drive progress and resolve issues.

    o   Work closely with cross-functional business and IS team members to ensure smooth communication, coordination, and alignment throughout the project.

  •  Perform project management duties on some projects

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant work experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of system design experience.

·         An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

·         Experience with enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, Qlik and/or Appian is a plus. 

·         Experience within a healthcare environment is a plus.

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 (Several factors, such as specific skill set, education level, certifications and years of experience, are considered to determine actual compensation.)
