The Regional Director of Operations, Perfusion, provides leadership to Area Clinical Managers and clinical associates in the delivery of clinical excellence and efficient healthcare services to clients. The incumbent has accountability for the clinical operations with a focus on labor management and implementing the Region President’s plan and financial management of our locations in the Southwest. This person will be able to reside anywhere in that region.

The Regional Director of Operations lead the team to meet or exceed clinical quality, efficiency and financial targets, and to comply with The Joint Commission standards, contractual requirements, the Company’s policies, applicable policies at the account(s), and other applicable regulatory requirements. He or she builds and maintains relationships with hospital administration and surgeon clients and provides direction in managing complex customer, physician and employee relations issues. The Regional Director of Operations performs clinical services on an interim basis as necessary.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years operational and financial management experience in health care for multi-state operations; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience as a clinical leader or senior manager over multiple locations or large hospital system is preferred
  • Experience with contract management of clinical services to hospitals and other health care systems is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership of people and business processes
  • Proven track record in managing change in complex environments
  • Ability to read, interpret, analyze, and prepare business and financial reports and documents
  • Ability to analyze data, develop improvement plans, and lead implementation of improvement plans with individuals and groups including employees, customers and physicians
  • Must have use of personal automobile for business purposes; must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; must also have the minimum coverage for personal automobile insurance as required by the State of residence
  • Meets credentialing and licensure requirements for the assigned programs and have documented verification of credentials

Salary Estimate: $190,000 - $275,000 / year (Several factors, such as specific skill set, education level, certifications and years of experience, are considered to determine actual compensation.)
