Position Summary:

The Region President, Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM)- CENTRAL REGION, is responsible for managing the delivery of clinical excellence in an efficient manner. The incumbent’s accountabilities include clinical quality, associate engagement and productivity, client relations and retention, overall business performance and profitability for the Central Region. In this role you will Build and maintain business relationships with clients and physicians to retain and grow accounts. Leverages local market knowledge to assist in targeting new business in collaboration with Business Development and supports the sales process as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and executes detailed operational plan to identify client needs, service enhancement opportunities and priorities for improvement
  • Ensures the delivery of services in compliance with the company’s clinical standards
  • Responsible for execution of established regional staffing levels, financial targets and quality outcomes; you have100% financial accountability for the region
  • Ensures Joint Commission compliance
  • Oversees and supports Directors of Operation within the region
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity and utilization of clinical associates
  • Key contact and relationship person for clients
  • Ensures SpecialtyCare performance aligns with client’s expectations
  • Understands clients’ strategy to help them meet their goals
  • Steward of Clinical Partners for Life process with client
  • Mentor and coach for associates development
  • Leads negotiation of contract renewals
  • Supports Business Development in identifying new business opportunities
  •  80% of time is devoted Operationally, with that time being split evenly between pure operations and Relationship Management
  • 20% of time is spent collaborating with Business Development with lead development, penetration and new sales
  • Performs other duties and works on special projects as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred
  • Eight years of health care operations experience with full P&L responsibility
  • Understands delivery of healthcare services and has demonstrated ability to operate in this environment
  • Experience with contract management and delivery of clinical services to hospitals and other health care systems
  • Prior experience in supporting sales and business growth preferred
