Medical Records Coordinator

Education:
· Associate’s degree (AS/AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or university; or
· Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
Experience:
· One (1) to three (3) years of related experience.
· Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal subpoena request
· Ability to write transmittal letters, read and understand fairly complex documents, strong telephone conversation skills.
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills, ability to work efficiently to meet short deadlines
· Self-starter and strong organizational skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Familiarity with medical records and electronic medical record and billing systems is a plus.
